People reports that Good Morning America's Lara Spencer is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, MarketAxess CEO Rick McVey, as confirmed by the star's rep. The magazine notes that the couple first met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend.

Spencer has been married once before — to former CNN reporter David Haffenreffer. Spencer and Haffenreffer, who divorced in 2015 after 15 years of marriage, share two teenage children together, daughter Katharine and son Duff.

According to People, McVey has also been married before and has three adult children.
