Elliot Page Marries Girlfriend Emma Portner

The Juno star got hitched in a secret wedding!

Elliot Page took to Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, to announce that he has married dancing pro Emma Portner.

"Can't believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife," the Inception star wrote, captioning a slideshow of three photos, which featured a snapshot of the newlyweds' hands and their gorgeous rings, as well as a sweet black-and-white pic of the two together. At the time of this writing, it's unclear exactly when the cute pair said, "I do."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Page, 30, and Portner, 23, were first romantically linked when they were spotted holding hands and kissing in July 2017. The Flatliners actor had previously dated surfer Samantha Thomas between September 2015 and January 2017.

Page has kept his relationship with Portner relatively private, but opened up about his sexuality in February 2014. "I'm here today because I am gay," he said at a benefit event for LGBTQ youth (via E! News). Elliot Page was designated as female on his birth certificate, but is now living as his authentic self. He also to the crowd at the event that he hoped he could "make a difference" and "help others have an easier and more hopeful time. Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility."

"I feel so grateful to feel how I feel now, compared to [how I felt] when I was a closeted person. It's not a nice place to be," the X-Men star told Stephen Colbert in 2015 (via Us Weekly). "[Staying in the closet] is toxic. I wish that no one had to live that way."
