The Truth About The Model Adam Levine Dated Just Before Behati Prinsloo, Anne V
Anne Vyalitsyna is a model for Sports Illustrated and was known for dating Adam Levine before he married his wife, Behati Prinsloo. Vyalitsyna and The Maroon 5 frontman met at a Sports Illustrated party in 2010. The two started dating shortly afterward and were together for two years. Levine's band played at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2011, where Vyalitsyna was modeling. The two even shared a kiss on the runway, per Page Six. The Russian model also starred in two Maroon 5 music videos, "Misery" and "Never Gonna Leave This Bed."
Vyalitsyna and Levine broke up in 2012 and in a statement to People, she announced, "Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best." The announcement reportedly blindsided Levine. A source close to the singer told Us Weekly, "Adam's heartbroken. He wasn't even fully sure they were really broken up." A friend of Vyalitsyna, however, told the publication, "Anne said he didn't pay her enough attention." Following the breakup, Vyalitsyna apparently harbored no hard feelings and even wished Levine the best after hearing of his engagement with Prinsloo.
So outside of her relationship with Levine, who is Vyalitsyna?
Inside Anne Vyalitsyna's relationship with Adam Cahan
Anne Vyalitsyna started dating business mogul Adam Cahan in 2014, per People. The two welcomed their daughter, Alaska on July 1, 2015. "Welcome to the world baby Alaska," Vyalitsyna wrote on Instagram. "Your little feet absolutely rocked my world, I've never been so in love! @acahan and I couldn't be more proud." The following year, Vyalitsyna announced her engagement to Cahan via her Instagram. "Yep this happened," she captioned while showing off her diamond sparkler.
Unfortunately, Vyalitsyna never ended up walking down the aisle, as she and Cahan broke things off in December 2018. Following their split, things became messy when Vyalitsyna struggled to make ends meet during the COVID-19 pandemic, as the New York Post reported. The model's source of income dropped significantly and she filed a petition in court to have Cahan pay her $8,500 a month in child support. "I want to note for the court that I have made every effort to resolve this matter with [Cahan] amicably," she stated. Vyalitsyna claimed that while Cahan pays for their daughter's health insurance and her private school, he doesn't give her any child support. She was also seeking sole custody of Alaska, who seems to be following in her footsteps as a burgeoning model.
Anne Vyalitsyna's life outside of modeling
When she isn't modeling, Anne Vyalitsyna keeps in shape with her active lifestyle. "Usually all my vacations are very active. I like to combine a little bit of sightseeing and either hiking, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, or climbing," she told Self. Vyalitsyna shared that her father was very active and would run five kilometers every day with him in Russia. To unwind, she revealed, "At the end of the day I do appreciations and gratitude in my journal."
Vyalitsyna gives back by using her platform to raise awareness about things she's passionate about. She posted a series of pictures on gun violence awareness and wrote, "We obviously shouldn't have to wear orange to be able to have our voices heard to create a safer world for our children but here we are on the streets marching." She is also a supporter of TOMS One Day Without Shoes campaign, which provides shoes to children in need. "Today I walk #withoutshoes so kids don't have to," she proudly tweeted. Vyalitsyna proves she is not just a pretty face, but someone who has a big heart as well.
