Report: John Mayer Hospitalized

TMZ reports that John Mayer was admitted to a hospital in New Orleans, La. early in the morning on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017. According to the gossip rag, the 40-year-old required an emergency appendectomy. He's reportedly in surgery, at the time of this writing.

Mayer has been on tour with Dead and Company. Their Dec. 5 show has been postponed.

Further details about Mayer's condition are not yet known.
