Best Man For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Wedding Revealed
We'd say the royal chose the right person for the job.
Us Weekly reports that Prince Harry has selected somebody to serve as best man at his wedding to Meghan Markle—his older brother, Prince William. A source told the magazine, "Harry has several close guy friends, but there's no way he would ask anyone but William to take on the top job."
But he's not the only family member that'll be a part of Harry's big day. William's children with wife Kate Middleton—Prince George and Princess Charlotte—will boast roles in the much anticipated wedding. The daughter of Markle's friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney will also reportedly be in the wedding party.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Harry and Markle's engagement was announced on Nov. 27, 2017. It was later revealed that the two would marry at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018.
In an interview following news of their engagement, Harry and Markle opened up about the big proposal, which was apparently more laidback than many would have guessed. "It was just a cozy night," Markle, 36, said. "[We were] trying to roast a chicken. It was just an amazing surprise. It was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee."
Markle noted that she'd said yes right away, before her other half was even done proposing. "She didn't even let me finished," Harry, 33, explained, adding, "It was a really nice moment — it was just the two of us. I think I managed to catch her by surprise."
