Long Island Medium Star Theresa Caputo Separates From Husband

The TLC star and her husband have ended their marriage.

Us Weekly reports that Long Island Medium's Theresa Caputo and her husband, Larry, have split after nearly three decades together.

"After 28 years of marriage, we have decided to legally separate," Theresa and Larry said in a statement on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017. "We will always love each other and our two wonderful children. We are united in supporting each other and our family. Please respect our privacy during this time."

As E! News previously noted, Theresa has commented on the ongoing issues in her marriage during the eighth season of her hit TV show. During a reading, the alleged medium had to walk away to collect herself, as she was overcome with emotions while thinking about her husband. "This is a really hard time right now with Larry and I," she said in a talking head. "And I don't know what is going to happen."

Theresa, 51, had previously explained her situation to a friend, stating, "I've changed and he has changed. We're both not happy and, you know, it's hard to try to work through that. It's not easy for me to sit here and to talk about this, to talk about my feelings, to talk about how my marriage is, but you know, things do change" (via E! News).

Theresa and Larry married in 1989 and share two children together, 24-year-old son Larry Jr. and 23-year-old daughter Victoria.
