Naya Rivera's Husband Ryan Dorsey Speaks Out About Her Arrest
The Justified actor is breaking his silence.
Ryan Dorsey took to Twitter on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, to address his wife Naya Rivera's recent arrest for domestic battery.
"This is a difficult time for everyone in the family especially for Naya and I," the actor wrote in a text post. "This isn't some reality show, this is our life, and I ask that everyone especially 'the media' please respect our privacy and treat us/the situation how you would want a loved one to be treated. Perhaps with kindness, respect, without judgement, and as negative a situation this is, with positivity and love. Thanks. -RD."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, the former Glee star was taken into custody around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, after police had been called to her home in Kanawha County, W. Va. for a "domestic situation."
Dorsey, whom Rivera called a "parental pushover" just a week before the incident, claimed that his wife had hit him on the head and the lip while they were out on a walk with their son and allegedly had video footage to prove it. He did not require medical attention. The "Sorry" singer was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and released on $1,000 bond early the following day.
Rivera, 30, and Dorsey, 34, married in July 2014 after her split from former fiancé Big Sean. After filing for divorce in November 2016, the Mad Families actress called off their separation in October 2017. The couple share one child together, 2-year-old Josey Hollis. As a source previously told E! News, "She is back together with Ryan Dorsey. They want to make it work for the sake of their son."
While we wait for more updates on the singer-actress' arrest, read up on why Hollywood won't cast Naya Rivera anymore.
