Kevin Hart Gushes About His Newborn Son
The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star couldn't be happier.
On Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, Kevin Hart opened up about the newest addition to his family during an interview with Entertainment Tonight at his new movie's press day in Hawaii. He and his wife, Eniko Parrish, welcomed their first child together, a son named Kenzo, last week.
"I have not changed a diaper," Hart began. "I'm around when the diaper is being changed, which makes me a part of the process within the moment," the comedian explained, adding, "All you have to do is find other stuff to do while it's going down to keep you busy. That's all."
When his Jumanji reboot co-star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, chimed in to say that Kenzo looks just like his mother, Hart quipped, "He looks just like his daddy. He's a very attractive child," adding that his son has "strong genes."
But the conversation turned more serious when Hart discussed being a dad for the third time. "I have no complaints at all — very blessed, very happy," he said. "Uh, you know, looking to expand this legacy. Last name Hart lives on. Generations now, we got generations of it."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kenzo was born on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017. "God is truly amazing," the proud dad tweeted at the time. "Kenzo Kash Hart was born at 1:45am....He is Healthy & already smiling. Thank you all for your prayers!!!! We love & appreciate ya #Harts."
The excited parents later shared the first photos of their little bundle of joy. "Feeling beyond blessed on this beautiful Sunday morning," Hart captioned a sweet snapshot of himself holding his newborn son. "Morning vibes with my little man #Harts #BabyZo #LiveLoveLaugh...Wifey gets the amazing Photocred."
Hart, 38, and Parrish, 33, married in August 2016 after dating for several years and announced they were expecting in May 2017. The stand-up comedian is also a father to two children, daughter Heaven, 12, and son Hendrix, 10, from his previous marriage with Torrei Hart.
