Ray J Expecting First Child With Wife Princess Love

On Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, Ray J (full name William Ray Norwood Jr.) visited The Real and shared that he and wife Princess Love are expecting their first child together.

"I'm nervous, excited. It finally happened," Ray J told the ladies of the popular daytime talk show. "It took me to focus and do the right thing for my side, take care of my responsibilities and get fresh."

The 36-year-old, who married Love in 2016, continued, "It was special because we was trying for a while. It's not as easy as some people think."

"For some people, they just go on tour and get everybody pregnant," he joked. "For me, it was love. We took our time. And then, as we were taking our time, it just took a little while."

While the two Love & Hip Hop Hollywood stars are waiting to find out the sex of their baby, Ray J admitted that he'd like to have a daughter. "It's like Daddy's little girl," he explained, noting that he'd want to "have some peace first" before having a son, as he thinks a boy might be more aggressive than a girl. "But whatever God blesses us with, I'm happy."
