Jordin Sparks Reveals Baby's Gender

The "Battlefield" singer had a lot to celebrate this Thanksgiving.

Jordin Sparks took to Instagram on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, to announce that she and her model husband, Dana Isaiah, are expecting a son. "IT'S A BOY!!!" the soon-to-be-mom revealed, captioning a cute snapshot of the two holding blue confetti, complete with multiple blue heart emojis. "We have so much to be thankful for and this is definitely at the top of the list! @_danaisaiah's gonna have a little mini me running around! We can't wait to meet him. We love you lil man!"

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Sparks, 27, surprised fans earlier this month when she announced that she had secretly eloped with Isaiah, 25, in July 2017, and that the two were expecting their first child together. Their little bundle of joy is due sometime in the spring. "We're both really excited," the "No Air" singer told People at the time (via Entertainment Weekly). "He's been like, 'I want to shout it from the mountain tops!' We're really proud to be married to each other and to be celebrating this."

"I'd gone through a crazy time last year, so I was just like 'You know what? I'm good. I'm going to stay single. I'm just not going to look,'" Sparks, who previously dated singer Jason DeRulo, continued. "It's amazing that that phrase 'When you don't look for it, that's when it comes'...he just showed up at my door." With her new family, the "Tattoo" singer said, "I'm the most content I've ever been in my life."

Since the announcement, the newlyweds have kept fans in the loop with sweet photos from their proposal and of Sparks' growing baby bump. "Dad and Mom," the American Idol alum wrote in the caption of the latter, including a heart-eyes emoji and the hashtags, "#andababymakes3 #HGA #wearefamily #myhubbyhasaheartofgold."
