Scott Disick Is Reportedly 'Dedicated To Getting Better' After Being Placed On Psychiatric Hold
Scott Disick is ready to make some changes in his life after an alleged brief hospitalization in August 2017.
"Scott is dedicated to getting better and trying to get better," a source exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017. According to the publication, the 34-year-old was transported to a hospital near his Hidden Hills, Calif. home after the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call on Aug. 18. He was reportedly placed on psychiatric hold, as he was allegedly thought to be a danger to both himself and others.
"Security at his house called for help. Scott was in a really bad place," the insider continued. "Scott's friends are worried for him but know that he's getting better for his family."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, the reality star was visited by his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, 38, during his short stay. As a source shared with Us Weekly in late May, "Kourtney is worried for Scott, as are Scott's friends and the whole Kardashian family." The insider added, "They aren't angry — just concerned — because he's clearly going through something." Disick and Kourtney were together for nine years, but called it quits in July 2015. The two share three young children together: Mason, 7, Penelope, 5, and Reign, 2.
Although the news broke on Wednesday, Sept. 6, a second source told Us Weekly that Disick had already returned to work that same evening. The entrepreneur apparently joined Kim Kardashian and their friend Jonathan Cheban for dinner in New York City, as the trio filmed for the upcoming ten-year-anniversary season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
While we wait for an update on Disick's health from the man himself, check out the messy truth about his on-and-off relationship with Kourtney.
