Kate Middleton, Prince William Expecting Third Child
Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their third baby, Kensington Palace confirmed in a statement on Monday, September 4, 2017.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child," the statement read. "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."
The statement added that Middleton, who is being cared for at Kensington Palace, is once again suffering from acute morning sickness, or Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which she battled during her first two pregnancies. As a result, the Duchess of Cambridge was forced to cancel an engagement at the the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London.
Middleton and William were married in a lavish ceremony at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. They've since become proud parents to son George (born July 22, 2013) and daughter Charlotte (born May 2, 2015). George is set to begin school at London's Thomas's Battersea School this week, on Sept. 7.
Congrats to the happy Royal couple!
