Taylor Swift Shares Yet Another Mysterious Video
What is the "Blank Space" singer up to?
On Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, Taylor Swift shared a third video on social media. The new 10-second clip shows the face of the mysterious creature that she's been teasing online—revealing it to be a snake!
Staring at the camera with its alarming red eyes, the CGI snake opens its mouth in a hiss, showing two long fangs.
As has been the case with her previous posts, there was no audio for the recording and no explanatory caption.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Swift, 27, deleted all of her social media posts, leading many fans to speculate that new music would soon be released. Swift later started sharing short video clips on her social media pages, further fueling rumors that a new song was on the way.
And, according to Us Weekly, a new "poppy" Swift song may be released on Friday, Aug. 25—along with a video to go with it! Sources also told the magazine that Swift may even be making an appearance at the 2017 MTV Music Video Awards on Sunday, Aug. 27.
Sources later told Us Weekly that Swift is "overhauling her image," noting that "the single is very different. It goes from very soft, to hard, to soft again."
An insider added, "The video is definitely eye-catching."
Hopefully all this hype results in the release of some brand new music from Swift. Otherwise, there are going to be a lot of disappointed fans out there.
