Amber Heard Breaks Up With Elon Musk

Guess these two celebs weren't meant to be.

Us Weekly reports that Amber Heard and Elon Musk have called it quits on their relationship after dating for over one year.

"The timing wasn't good for them," a source told the magazine. "He's super busy and works all the time. Amber is filming [Aquaman] in Australia until October. She's in no position to settle with him. She feels her career is just starting."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Heard, 31, and Musk, 46, were first romantically linked while the actress was going through a divorce from actor Johnny Depp. After Heard and Depp's divorce was finalized, she and Musk finally went public with their romance in April 2017.

The two seemed to be hitting it off. In late May 2017, Heard shared a few snapshots of herself hanging out with Musk's kids—showing off her playful bond with her beau's five children. A month earlier, Heard's father, David, told Grazia magazine that his daughter and the Tesla billionaire were getting serious. "Amber and Elon are both very serious about each other. She would love to get married," he said. "One of the things they want to do is settle down and have a family. They are making plans for that."

Heard and Musk have yet to release any formal statements regarding their reported breakup.
