Alex Rodriguez Calls Jennifer Lopez A 'Role Model' To His Kids

Who doesn't love J.Lo? 

Alex Rodriguez spoke with Entertainment Tonight for an interview shared on June 20, 2017, and he just couldn't help but praise his lady love. "Jennifer is one of the most brilliant business minds that I've ever met," the former Yankees player said of Jennifer Lopez. "She's the hardest working lady and, you know, I grew up with a single mother. I have two daughters. I am a big, big promoter of women equality."

The 41-year-old continued, "I like that for my daughters and Jennifer is the role model."

Rodriguez has two daughters, Elle, 9, and Natasha, 12, from his previous marriage to Cynthia Scurtis. Similarly, Lopez, 47, also has two children from a previous relationship—9-year-old twins Max and Emme from her marriage to Marc Anthony.

Lopez seems to be getting along well with Rodriguez's family. In early June 2017, Rodriguez shared a clip of Lopez high-fiving and hugging Natasha after his daughter sang for a small group. So clearly, his kids are big fans of the "Let's Get Loud" singer.

Rodriguez also opened about his relationship with Lopez to Extra. "If you want to be together you are together," he said. "Our kids get along really well, we're both from New York, we're both Latin, we're both in our forties, we're really enjoying life, but she really is one of the most impressive and smartest human beings I have ever met."

The couple have been dating since March 2017, and they don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. But really, who'd want them to? Rumor has it that the two have been talking marriage.
