Kim Kardashian Unhappy With Caitlyn Jenner's Memoir
Add Kim Kardashian to the growing list of family members unhappy with Caitlyn Jenner's new memoir, The Secrets of My Life.
In a sit-down interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Thursday, April 27, 2017, Kardashian questioned much of what Jenner had written in her book, including stories about Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner. "My heart breaks for my mom [Kris Jenner], you know, because I feel like she's been through so much and [Jenner is] promoting this book and she's saying all these things," she said. "I don't think it's necessary and I just feel like it's unfair, things aren't truthful."
Kardashian went on to claim that she has not spoken to Jenner in about two weeks, but admits she'll always love her. "That was my stepdad for so many years. She taught me about character and so much growing up and I just feel like I don't respect the character that she's showing now," Kardashian said. "And, but like I said, we, I'll still always have a major love for her, for who she was in my life. I'm really sentimental; I think my mom's that way."
She continued, "It's still Kendall and Kylie's dad, so I want to be respectful, but I just feel like there's no need for a book. You know, tell your story but just don't bash other people, you know. I just think like it's not tasteful."
Jenner's memoir hasn't sat well with other Kardashians, including her ex-wife, Kris Jenner. Jenner also revealed this week that her step-daughter Khloe Kardashian had not spoken to her in about two years.
