Mary-Kate Olsen Is Reportedly Ready To Be A Mom
One Olsen sister is apparently eager to start having babies.
A source tells Us Weekly that Mary-Kate Olsen, 30, and her husband Olivier Sarkozy, 47, "really want a baby."
"They have been ready to have a child for a while," the source said.
Olsen married the French banker in 2015 in a smoky Manhattan ceremony, after three years of dating. Sarkozy, who is 17 years Olsen's senior, is already father to two teenage children, Julien and Margot Sarkozy, whom he had with his ex-wife Charlotte Bernard. However, Olsen, while a stepmom, has yet to have any children of her own.
Olsen recently sat down for a rare interview with Net-a-Porter's The Edit about her busy schedule, which involves not only running her business empire but also making meals for her family at home: "We don't need so much time to sit and think and ponder. But then I have a husband, two step-kids and a life; I have to go home and cook dinner."
While no pregnancy plans have been formally announced by the couple, a future Olsen-Sarkozy baby doesn't seem out of the question. Rumors circulated that Olsen was pregnant in March 2016 after Olsen reportedly didn't smoke or drink at the Met Gala's official afterparty–an unusual observation considering the famous twin's alleged penchant for cigarettes and alcohol. Could Olsen and Sarkozy have already started trying to have children?
Only time will tell if the Elizabeth and James designer will be a mom, but we'd certainly love to see Olsen rock some stylish maternity wear.
Fingers crossed she'll have twins.
