​Hilary Duff's Ex-Husband Mike Comrie Investigated For Rape

Hilary Duff's ex-husband, former NHL star Mike Comrie, is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department for allegedly raping a woman, reports TMZ.

LAPD Officer Liliana Preciado confirms to the New York Daily News, "There is an open investigation of sexual assault involving Mr. Comrie."

The victim reportedly claims she and Comrie met at a bar on the night of Saturday, Feb. 11 and the two went back to his West L.A. condo. There she claims Comrie raped her multiple times but Comrie reportedly maintains that the sex was consensual.

TMZ reports the alleged victim claims she almost immediately went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where a rape kit was administered. It's also being reported that Comrie knew the woman for some time and the sexual encounter was part of a threesome, however the other woman involved has not filed a complaint.

Comrie, 36, and Duff, 29, married in 2010 and amicably separated in 2014. Their divorce became official in February 2016 after reports Comrie drunkenly hit on women at Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. The exes share son Luca Cruz, born in March 2012, one month after Comrie's retirement from the NHL. Comrie's father, Bill, is one of the founders of The Brick furniture company and reportedly worth hundreds of millions.

Singer and actress Duff is newly dating music producer Matthew Koma, also 29.
