Kris Jenner Gets Choked Up Talking About Daughter Khloe Kardashian
Kris Jenner just opened up about Khloé Kardashian amid rumors that her daughter's boyfriend cheated on her.
The famous momager appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about how her daughter has been handling everything since Tristan Thompson was caught on video appearing to cheat on Kardashian, who was pregnant with their child at the time. Calling the whole ordeal "very unexpected," Jenner told host Ellen DeGeneres that Kardashian has been focusing on her newborn daughter.
"Khloe is amazing. I'm so proud of that kid," Jenner shared. "I get choked up because she's such a good mom, and, honestly ... I get so emotional."
Jenner also revealed that she'd seen Kardashian a week earlier when she'd gone to visit her daughter in Cleveland, Ohio, where she lives. "It was snowing and she was all nestled in the nursery and the baby and she's just concentrating on that. Just being a mom, her baby, and I think that's what her sisters are doing as well. ... She's so excited about motherhood..."
Adding that Kardashian's still adjusting to nursing, Jenner said, "She's figuring it out one day at a time, and she's just the best mom already, and that baby is so cute."
When asked for her reaction when the video of Thompson allegedly cheating on Kardashian was released, Jenner kept her cool and stated, "I think we do what we always do, and that's spring into action with love, and we all hopped on a plane and flew to Cleveland. Cause that's what we know to do."
She continued, "I'm there to support my kids no matter what happens, and I just do the best I can, just like anybody else would for their family," adding, "There's a lot of us ... We're a force to be reckoned with."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kardashian gave birth to her first child, daughter True, on April 12, 2018, just days after Thompson's reported cheating made headlines. She has yet to comment on the matter.
However, Kardashian's sister Kim has spoken out about Thompson's apparent infidelity, appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in late April. "I don't even know how to describe it besides it's just so f***ed up," she told DeGeneres. "We really were rooting for Khloe, and we still are ... you know, she's so strong and she's doing the best that she can. It's a really sad situation all over."
