Amber Heard, Elon Musk Reportedly Back Together

It looks like this former couple is giving it another go.

According to an Us Weekly exclusive, published on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, Amber Heard and Elon Musk have decided rekindle their romance, just five months after splitting up.

"They are back together," a source told the magazine. "Amber is having a good time with Elon. He wants to hang out with her all the time. She's happy to have him. She cares about him and thinks he's fascinating. They share a lot of interests and she finds him very intelligent and interesting and not too Hollywood."

An insider close to the Tesla CEO added, "Elon and Amber have been spending a lot of time together, enjoying each other's company."

Musk had previously opened up about the pair's breakup during a candid interview with Rolling Stone in November 2017. "I was really in love, and it hurt bad," the billionaire said, adding that "she broke up with me more than I broke up with her, I think." 

"I'm looking for a long-term relationship. I'm not looking for a one-night stand. I'm looking for a serious companion or soulmate, that kind of thing," he continued. "If I'm not in love, if I'm not with a long-term companion, I cannot be happy."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Heard, 31, and Musk, 46, were first romantically linked while the Justice League actress was in the middle of her divorce from actor Johnny Depp. The two went public with their relationship in April 2017, before amicably calling it quits in August after a year of dating.

Soon after, Musk commented on the breakup on his ex's Instagram. "Just to clear up some of the press storm this weekend, although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another," he wrote in a comment on one of her posts. "Long distance relationships when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds."

Speculation surrounding the on-again, off-again couple's reconciliation began in late December 2017, when they were seen kissing while out on a lunch date. Heard and Musk later rang in 2018 together while vacationing in Chile.
