Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Welcome Third Child

The famous family just welcomed its newest member!

TMZ reports that Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed their third child via surrogate on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 — and it's a girl! Their daughter weighed in at 7lbs., 6oz.

Kardashian revealed the news herself with a post on her website. "Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," she wrote, noting that her daughter was born at 12:47 a.m. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care."

Kardashian added, "North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."

As People previously reported, Kardashian and West hired a surrogate to carry their third child, after the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star suffered from complications like placenta accreta during her pregnancy with son Saint. Kardashian later confirmed the pregnancy on her family's E! reality show, before later revealing her baby's sex in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

No word yet on the newborn's name.
