Fixer Upper's Chip And Joanna Gaines Expecting Fifth Child Together

The home improvement stars are growing their family.

On Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, Chip Gaines took to Instagram to announce that he and wife Joanna Gaines are expecting their fifth child together. Posting a silly photo of the pair touching Chip's belly, he wrote, "Gaines party of 7.. (If you're still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT)."

In the post, Joanna's baby bump can be seen, though it's covered by a hoodie.

Earlier that same day, Chip had hinted at the big news, sharing a video compilation of the two teasing each other about having another child.

On Twitter, he added, "You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco. And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber."

Chip and Joanna, whose HGTV hit series is ending after season five, are already parents to four children: Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7.
